|Big Brothers Big Sisters of America VP of Research, Innovation and Growth Appointed to “Chronicle of Evidence-Based Mentoring” Editorial Board|
Venessa Marks, the vice president of research, innovation and growth for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, has been named to the editorial board of the “Chronicle of Evidence-Based Mentoring" as Program Editor.
“The Chronicle of Evidence-Based Mentoring” is an online publication and resource devoted to the latest research and findings related to youth mentoring. It acts as a forum to encourage and promote discussion routed in evidence-based practices with regard to youth mentoring, all with a mind toward improving youth mentoring on the whole.
Marks brings several years’ experience related to training, development and programming in the nonprofit sector, having worked for a number of years with various organizations before landing her current position with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. By being appointed to this position, she will join several experts and experienced professionals on the Chronicle’s editorial board.
“I am honored and excited to represent Big Brothers Big Sisters of America in contributing to a valuable resource in the field of mentoring,” Marks said. “Big Brothers Big Sisters is committed to continuing to deepen the evidence base behind mentoring, and to share what we learn to benefit the entire field.”
