Big Brothers Big Sisters depends on Alaskans for support. It isn’t easy being a kid these days. In these complex and confusing times, children need caring adults to be mentors and friends- someone they can talk to, have fun with and learn from.

Big Sister Robin and Little Sister Brooke
Robin and Brooke were matched in October of 2006. They got along really well at their first match meeting and their friendship continues to grow every time they got together. Brooke's dad is part of the Air Force and has been deployed in the past. Her family thought having a Big Sister would give Brooke another caring adult to do things with. They were right! Robin and Brooke enjoy ice skating, swimming, bowling, and watching Aces games together. These two will no doubt be friends for a long time.
