Tribute & Memorial Gifts

Giving a gift in memory of a loved one or in honor of a birthday, anniversary, or special occasion is a special way to pay tribute to that special someone while supporting the mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters. All memorial and honor gifts will be acknowledged through a personal note sent by Big Brothers Big Sisters of America to the honored person(s). Make your tribute or memorial gift online.

Stocks & Securities

Increasing numbers of donors are making gifts to Big Brothers Big Sisters using appreciated securities including stock, bonds, and mutual funds.  As a donor, you are entitled to take a charitable deduction for the full fair-market value of appreciated securities held longer than one year, and you usually avoid paying the capital gains tax that would be due if you sold the securities.
