We believe that every child can benefit from the attention and understanding of a caring adult. We believe that every child can succeed. And we believe that at-risk children especially need your help.
For 35 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Seacoast has been implementing programs to match thousands of at-risk children in our community with adult mentors. We partner with parents, guardians, volunteers, and other community members to cultivate one-on-one relationships. Then we provide professional support to make sure they thrive.
Our volunteers- our Big Brothers and Big Sisters- make a real difference. These “Bigs” form mentoring relationships to help every child dream bigger, relate better, and feel more confident. Our programs encourage children to avoid risky behavior and to succeed in school. The time that children spend with their Big Brother or Big Sister make these choices seem right.
