At Jack in the Box, they believe that mentoring can change a child's life. That's why The Jack in the Box Foundation proudly partners with Big Brothers Big Sisters to serve youth in Jack in the Box restaurant communities. On national and local levels, they sponsor a myriad of efforts for Big Brothers Big Sisters, including a school-based mentoring program that matches high school student Bigs with elementary school student Littles, and our “First Meal” program, which treats newly-matched Bigs and Littles to a meal at Jack in the Box. In their restaurants, decals raise awareness for Big Brothers Big Sisters and encourage our guests to volunteer. They also encourage volunteerism among their employees, many of whom are Bigs or volunteer in other ways with BBBS.
A national Big Brothers Big Sisters sponsor since 1998, The Jack in the Box Foundation has provided more than $3 million to national and local agencies through corporate, employee and franchisee donations, fund-raising events and services. Based in San Diego, Jack in the Box operates or franchises more than 2,000 quick-serve restaurants in 17 states.

For many years, the Dell Foundation has partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Texas to support mentoring programs in Williamson County. Funds received from the Foundation are used to increase the number of youth in BBBS’ Williamson County mentoring program while positively influencing a range of outcomes, including academic achievement, relationships and recidivism rates among juvenile delinquents. Over the years, support has been given for BBBS' site-based programs at Berkman Elementary and Bluebonnet Elementary and BBBS' community-based program which allows BBBS to widen their geographical service area to meet the increased need within Williamson County's high-risk youth population.
