Program Director:

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Dane County seeks a full time Program Director. The Program Director is responsible for the day to day implementation of our mission to help children reach their full potential through professionally supported, one-to-one mentoring relationships. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual with a proven track record of outstanding service to children. S/he is accountable for program performance; planning, leading and driving implementation of a program designed to increase the overall impact/return on investment for all of our customers—Bigs, Littles their families and our donors. 

Provides supervision/coaching, oversight and evaluation of program staff and must have excellent interpersonal skills. Must possess excellent decision-making, strategic planning and evaluation skills and have at least two years’ experience supervising program staff. Must be able to inspire and lead a team with diverse skills.   Has energy and drive necessary to build effective relationships within the team and cohesion with fund development.  

Evening and weekend work required. Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is necessary. Knowledge of data driven outcomes and database management preferred. A car is required.  

$35,000 to $42,000 Per Year
Background check required.

Front Desk Volunteers Needed!

Office volunteers help with necessary administrative tasks that assist both the mentoring program and fund development staff, such as staffing the reception desk, filing, data entry, helping with mailings, and other tasks. We ask Office volunteers to work one full day per week from 8:30-5 and commit to volunteering for a minimum of 6 months. We currently have openings Tuesday - Friday.
