You are an important part of making this years Bowl For Kids Sake a Big Success...for the Children!
Here is how it works….
 Step 1-Get a Team!
Get 4-5 of your friends, co-workers, family, etc. together to be a
bowling team.
 Step 2-Get Excited!
Get excited about raising money for Kids! Bowl for Kids’
Sake is Big Brothers Big Sister largest fundraiser. All
money raised goes to help match a child with a mentor
who can be their friend.
 Step 3-Get Sponsors!
Each team member needs a Sponsor Sheet and needs to get as many
sponsors as possible. You can register and create your own PERSONAL
WEBPAGE to request pleges online at:
www.bluegrassBFKS2009.kintera.org
This is an easy and economical way to get pledges, you can even get
pledges while you sleep. Each bowler that gets $75 dollars in pledges
will receive a commemorative BFKS t-shirt.
Over the next few weeks you will see plenty of potential sponsors. It’s
easy to fill the sheet if you remember to ask! Here are some ideas of
people to ask:

sponsored you last year!

Set an ambitoius online goal to challenge your sponsors. More
money means more children matched with a mentor!
Make the first sponsor listed on your pledge sheet a higher pledge
(ie: $10 or more). Those pledging next usually "follow-the-leader".
(minimum pledge should be $5.00.)
Increase your pledge by asking your sponsors if they have a matching
gifts program for non-profit organizations at their company.
 Step 4-Sign Up Your Team!
Contact the BBBS office in your county to sign-up your
team for a day and time to bowl--Times fill up fast so call
early!!!
Step 5-Have Fun Bowling!
Arrive at the bowling center 15 minutes before your scheduled time to
bowl and check in. Each bowler should bring their completed pledge
sheet, a printout of any online donations, and any money/checks
collected.
Enjoy free Arby's sandwiches, free soft drinks, and free Little Ceasar's
pizza. Bowl one free game (shoes included) and get a chance to win a
great door prize!
