Brand New School-Based Mentoring Research!
Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Diego County is on a journey to serve a record number of children. We have seen significant change over the last year, all in preparation for the journey that will make our agency a significant and preeminent child serving agency in this county.
This journey defines a new scale and even a new purpose for our agency. Our mission, as always, is focused on one-to-one mentoring. We are now driven by the huge number of children and families who need our life-changing program and the potential of our organization to have profound impact on our schools and neighborhoods
Utilizing POE as an internal evaluation tool is critical to our success. On August 1, 2005, the day the agency began to use the Service Delivery Model, we also began to use the POE. This report will hi-light all of the results received from the POE, as completed by parents, volunteers and teachers. Click here to read more about the study.
The results represent all of the BBBS of SDC School-Based Mentoring programs combined. Therefore, the results are reflective of the evaluations given in the Bigs in School, High School Bigs and Operation Bigs programs.
