POSITION: Receptionist & Office Assistant, Bilingual (ROA2-08)
DEPARTMENT: Operations
REPORTS TO: HR Director
STATUS: Non-exempt, 32 hours per week
JOB SUMMARY: The primary responsibility of the Receptionist & Office Assistant is to greet and help our clients, volunteers, vendors, employees and the general public in person and on the telephone in English and in Spanish in a friendly and welcoming manner. Secondary responsibilities may include assisting Department Heads with administrative projects and tasks.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to fluently, speak, read and write in English and Spanish. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience and/or training. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Outlook, Excel and Word.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must be able to demonstrate excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills in both English and Spanish reflecting solid customer service both in-person and on the telephone. Ability to multi-task and complete tasks in a timely manner, work independently on assigned tasks and take and accept direction on given assignments.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Routine office environment with minimal local and national travel. This is not a designated telecommuting position.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to sit in meetings for long periods of time. Ability to work effectively using a personal computer for long periods of time.
