Being a Big Brother or Big Sister is one of the most rewarding and enjoyable things you will ever do. As you and your Little learn and grow together, you will leave a legacy through your gift of friendship.

It is not hard to be a Big Brother or Sister. You and your Little will share all sorts of experiences. Ask 10 Bigs what they do with their Little and you will get 10 different answers. BBBS works hard to match you with a Little Brother or Sister who shares your personality and temperament, so that your friendship will grow as naturally as possible.

Just 4 hours a month can change a young person's life.

Depending on the Big Brothers Big Sisters program you choose, you will meet your Little at his or her school or in the community. Learn more about our programs.

Little Brothers and Little Sisters come from all kinds of backgrounds. Some are really little (as young as seven) and some are teenagers. Some may live on your block and some a few miles away. What do they all have in common?

How to apply: The easiest and fastest way to get started is to complete our convenient online application. Alternatively, you may call 651.789.2400 during regular business hours. After you complete the short application, a Big Brothers Big Sisters staff member will contact you. You'll need to:

• Attend orientation and training
• Participate in an in-person interview
• Have a background and reference check performed.
