For 89 years, BBBS has been changing young people's lives by matching them with a Big Brother or Sister. We continue to facilitate these friendships which broaden horizons and enrich a child's life.

Did you know that it costs approximately $1400 per year to support one match? As we increase the number of young people we serve, our need for financial support also increases. Through mentoring, BBBS provides services that help eliminate disparities in educational and social outcomes for the children we serve by helping them to develop positive assets that will improve their current and future quality of life. Young people who have a caring mentor in their lives are significantly more likely to do well in school, to have better communication skills and to have positive relationships with the adults in their lives. Equally important, they are much less likely to abuse substances or engage in violent behavior.

You can help support these life-changing relationships. Please consider a donation to create new, positive relationships between young people and adult volunteers.
