Support from Businesses, Foundations and Organizations

In addition to grants, corporate gifts and sponsorships, there are many ways in which our individual friends can help improve the lives of youth in our area. To make a difference, individuals can engage:

* Employers

* Spouse's/significant other's/family members' employers

* Foundations in which you participate

* Organizations to which you belong (civic, professional, recreational, religious, academic, etc.)

In the business sector, there are many ways that our friends and volunteers can help us access support. Here are a few examples:

* Workplace Giving Campaigns (internal/United Way/other) - ask to have a BBBS representative present at kick-off and celebration events

* Dollars for Doers - many corporations will donate a certain dollar amount for every hour that employees volunteer

* Introductory Meetings with your Corporate Giving Representative or Foundation Lead

* Matching Gift Programs
