Mike joined the Prouty Project team as a partner in 2000 and was named CEO effective January 1, 2005.  He works with management teams, boards of directors and staff groups to facilitate strategic planning, team, leadership development and executive retreats.  Mike has 26 years financial and operational management experience in the health care, manufacturing and public accounting industries.  Prior to joining the Prouty Project, Mike spend 12 years as a senior financial leader at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., where he was actively involved in the strategic planning and team development activities of a 900 plus person finance department.  He has also been a Controller for $100 million manufacturing company and is a CPA who started his career at the public accounting firm now called PricewaterhouseCoopers serving its Minneapolis and New York City offices.  Mike is on the Business Advisory Board at the College of Business of Winona State University, the Finance Committee at BBBS and serves on the board of directors of HIRED.  Mike, his wife and three children live in Minneapolis.
