Education and Enrichment Activities
Big Brothers Big Sisters is committed to providing on-going educational activities to our matches and families. BBBS hopes that the youth in our program will have an enriching experience while in their match, but our job doesn’t stop there. We want to challenge our matches to think beyond high school – to explore post secondary education and career opportunities and to learn about the many resources available in our Twin Cities community.
In this, BBBS will link our matches and families to: colleges, universities, trade and technical schools; scholarship agencies; career exploration centers; financial aid support; and enrichment activities. Opportunities are open and available to Littles and High School Bigs.
Willy Tully is the BBBS Education and Enrichment Activities Coordinator. He is responsible for providing matches with links to resources that can help Littles and Bigs explore opportunities in higher education. Currently, Willy is a guest blogger for LearnmoreMN. To read his comments, click here.
BBBS will lead college exploration activities, scholarship workshops, financial aid sessions, and campus visits for our matches and families. Check back here for announcements of upcoming events and activities, and to find links to resources that will be useful as you explore college and scholarship opportunities.
