What is the Big Alliance?
The Big Alliance is a collaborative effort by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah’s current and former volunteers, staff, and local young professionals who support the agency’s mission. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah is an affiliate of the nation’s oldest, largest and most effective youth mentoring organization.
The mission of the Big Alliance is to be an elite philanthropic membership group that is designed to work alongside other professionals engaged in supporting the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah mission.
The vision of the Big Alliance is to benefit from the relationships of its members, thus serving as a liaison between the agency and the community we serve. Specifically, the group will:
- Recruit volunteers and donors of diverse backgrounds
- Establish and maintain partnerships with key people and organization within our community
- Provide opportunities for its members to network and share ideas
- Individually support the strategic initiatives f the agency through monetary and volunteer commitments
