Big Brothers Big Sisters is a donor-supported volunteer organization that places caring adults in the lives of children in one-to-one mentoring relationships. Through the positive impact of those friendships, children with a Big Brother or Big Sister are more likely to graduate from high school and are less likely to begin using drugs, begin using alcohol or engage in negative conflict.

$2.99 Million Grant to fund Caruth Juvenile Delinquency Prevention Initiative

As Scott prepares for his freshman year at West Point, the United States Military Academy, he gives his Big Brother credit for keeping him on the right track and teaching him the value of hard work. Scott said that and much more recently as he shared his story with a packed house at the Big Brothers Big Sisters headquarters as they announced a $2.99 million grant award to fund the Caruth Juvenile Delinquency Prevention Initiative
