The 2008 Big Black Tie Ball will raise funds to recruit mentors for the more than 2,000 children on our waiting list.

The Big Black Tie Ball: An Evening of Masterpieces celebrates the masterpieces that are the children in our program. Not defined by a single extraordinary element, a true masterpiece represents the sum of ordinary elements placed together in extraordinary cohesiveness. The children served by Big Brothers Big Sisters, as guided by our programs and volunteers, become empowered to identify those positive and unique elements that define who they are and utilize them to fulfill their greatest vision of success for themselves.

This Evening of Masterpieces hopes to inspire you through the people that inspire us everyday, our children. The funds raised this evening will benefit the more than 2,000 works of art currently waiting for a Big Brother or Big Sister. For each $1,000 raised, one child will be removed from our waiting list and matched to a mentor who will help them realize the masterpiece in each of them.
