T. Charles Pierson
President and Chief Executive Officer
In 2003, Big Brothers Big Sisters board of directors unanimously voted T. Charles Pierson as the CEO after a national search. Mr. Pierson's extensive business management experience and his dedication of more than a decade as both a Big Brother and a board member made him a natural choice to successfully lead the agency.
He first came to the agency in 1993 as a Big Brother and was voted the Texas State Big Brother of the Year in 2001. He served on the agency's board from 1996 until 2003.
Mr. Pierson holds a bachelor's of science in math and economics and a master's of business administration from Vanderbilt University.
Mary A. Flores, SPHR
Vice President of Human Resources
Mary Flores has been involved in human resources for more than 25 years. Her career has evolved to encompass all areas of human resources including benefits, payroll, employee relations, staffing, compensation, legal compliance and strategic planning.
She has been with Big Brothers Big Sisters since February, 2005. To compliment her career, Mrs. Flores pursued and received her SPHR Certification (Senior Professional in Human Resources) and is among the last professional group to receive a lifetime designation.
Mary was also appointed by former Governor George W. Bush to serve on the board of the Texas Insurance Purchasing Alliance tasked with developing potential solutions to the problem of providing affordable health insurance coverage for small business employees.
Originally from Stevens Point, Wisconsin, Mrs. Flores has been in Texas since 1981 after graduating from the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh with a major in Business Administration.
Michael O'Teter, LMSW
Vice President of Program
Michael O'Teter serves as the Vice President of Program for Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Texas. Mike has also been a Big Brother to Shaquille, age 16, for 6 years.
Since graduating from Baylor University with a BA in Psychology and later earning a Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington, Mike has worked for 27 years in the non-profit arena focused on helping at-risk children. He started at the Waco Center for Youth, gained experience at Lena Pope Home in Fort Worth, and then for 12 years served as the Program Director at Presbyterian Children's Services n Waxahachie. During that time he served a term as President of the Teaching Family Association.
Dan Stuchal
Vice President of Marketing and Communications
Dan Stuchal began working with Big Brothers Big Sisters in 2003 and currently holds the position of Vice President of Marketing and Communications.
In this position he is responsible for all functions of the Marketing department as well as fundraising events. Stuchal has been a Big Brother since joining the agency.
Prior to this, Stuchal enjoyed thirteen years in the National Hockey League, most recently as Assistant General Manager of the Calgary Flames Hockey Club from 2000 to 2003. Prior to that, Stuchal worked with the Dallas Stars organization for ten years and was a proud member of the 1999 Stanley Cup Champion team.
Stuchal graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1991 and lives with his wife and daughter in Coppell, TX.
Tom Frazier
Vice President of Individual Giving and Major Gifts
Tom Frazier currently directs programs to secure "Legacy Gifts" or estate gifts for Big Brothers Big Sisters. Additionally, he stewards and cultivates donors for major gifts. He is also the contact person for Collin County; working corporations, individuals and other parties to promote the program in the region.
Prior to joining Big Brothers Big Sisters in 2005, Tom served as Senior Director of Major Gifts for the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas. He oversaw the Tocqueville Society generating more than $6.5 million annually.
He received his Certified Fund Raising Executive(CFRE) classification, and has served on the national board of directors
of AFP(NSFRE)and was president of the Wisconsin Chapter and the
Dallas board of Directors of AFP(NSFRE).
Mr. Frazier is a graduate of Marquette University's College of
Journalism.
Olivia Coggin Euadaly
State Executive Director of Amachi Texas
As State Executive Director of Amachi Texas since its inception in January 2006, Olivia Eudaly leads this groundbreaking, statewide initiative providing mentors for children with parents in prison. Working closely with 10 BBBS agencies across Texas, Olivia serves as the statewide spokesperson for Amachi and concurrently manages child and volunteer recruitment for BBBS of North Texas.
Former professional work includes both nonprofit management and academia, having served as adjunct professor in English/Communications at a variety of universities.
She received her BA degree from Texas Christian University graduating cum laude. She earned her MA degree at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary graduating with honors. Also, she has done graduate studies at Texas A & M University and by invitation at Harvard¹s JFK School of Government, Executive Education Leadership program.
Her biographical listings include Marquis Who¹s Who in America, Who¹s Who Among American Women, Outstanding Young Women of America, Community Leaders and Noteworthy Americans and others. The Fort Worth Business Press named her a Woman of Influence at the ³Great Women of Texas² presentation in December 2001.
Jason Ray
Vice President of Operations and Strategic Initiatives
Jason Ray joined Big Brothers Big Sisters in 1998 and ultimately became the Chief Executive Officer of BBBS serving Arlington& Mansfield. In 2003, Mr. Ray was appointed Vice President of the newly merged Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Texas (BBBSNT). He currently is responsible for agency operations and strategic initiatives.
Mr. Ray holds a bachelor's of science in political science from Texas Christian University and a master's of public administration from the University of Texas at Arlington. His experience also includes past service on the board of the Tarrant County Hospital District and numerous other civic and governmental committees.
April Klics
Associate Vice President of Program
April Klics serves as the Associate Vice President of Program for Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Texas.
She is also a Big Sister in our School Based program to Little Sister Julia. She joined Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Dallas in June 1993 and began her career with the agency as a CaseManager. As the Associate Vice President of Program April over sees the day to day operations of the Program Team. She also serves as our database (AIM) administrator. April graduated with her Bachelors of Social Work from the University of Texas in Austin. She completed her Masters Degree in Human Resources and Training in 2003.
