Whether you enjoy spectator sports or participatory sports, Deion Sanders' Sports Buddies is a program that allows Bigs an opportunity to spend time with a child enjoying those activities that appeal to them most. Do you like to go fishing? Do you like to play golf? Do you like taking in a baseball game on a warm summer night? Are you a big Texas Rangers fan or would you rather take in a Dallas Stars game?
In the program, mentors and kids are provided the opportunity to shoot hoops, score touchdowns, workout, play racquetball and even root for their favorite team – together! Matched with a shared passion for sports in mind, participants in the program will have access to tickets to sporting events on the professional, semi-professional and collegiate levels. As well, through our partnership with the YMCA, matches will be able to utilize YMCA facilities throughout North Texas at no cost and participate in organized YMCA athletic programs at greatly reduced rates together.
