Big Shot Newsletters
Big Shot Newsletters are quarterly mailings that go out to all Bigs. These mailings include upcoming match activities and trainings for Bigs and Matches for the current and upcoming month. Bigs will also find helpful activity ideas and educational activities to try with their Littles. Matches will also find photos from monthly BBBS activities and stories about what is happening with other Bigs and Littles. If you are not currently receiving these mailings each month, please contact your match support specialist to be added to the mailing list. Current Newsletter: Fall 2008
Big League
Hello Bigs! Do you wish there was a way you could be more involved with our agency? WE NEED YOU! With all of the great activities happening around the Metroplex Big Brothers and Big Sisters of North Texas relies on our Bigs for additional help and support through the North Texas Big League. Big League is a group made up of Big Brothers, Big Sisters and unmatched volunteers from every part of our North Texas service area. If you enjoy assisting with the planning and implementation of Match Activities, Big League is the place for you! Sign up now by e-mailing your name and interest to bigleague@bbbstx.org. After signing up, we will let you know about upcoming events and happenings within Big League.
For those who may wish to be more involved, we also have the Big League Council, a group of representatives who serve as an advisory group, providing valuable feedback to BBBS staff with regard to initiatives and decisions that might directly impact or involve Bigs and Littles.
