College Bigs
Where learning goes beyond books into learning to make a difference

View the College Bigs Program Fact Sheet
Too often our children live a block away from a college, but never envision themselves attending one. We're changing that.
In 2002, we began working with the Fox Leadership Program at the University of Pennsylvania to give children a first-hand look at higher education, and to offer college students a way to give back. The program is a great success, with nearly 400 students from the University enrolled as mentors. We are bringing this College Bigs Program model to many colleges in Southeastern Pennsylvania.
Our College Bigs Programs match college students with local elementary and middle school students. The Bigs and Littles spend time together on campus and in school. The college students build relationships with their Littles who cherish their attention and the exposure to one more educational milestone.
