$25,000 Raised for Kids' Sake!

Bowl for Kids' Sake 2009 was held on October 22nd and 24th. Supporters of Big Brothers Big Sisters came together to make a lasting impact on children by bowling! Participants helped kids while having a fun time!

Bowl for Kids’ Sake is Big Brothers Big Sisters' signature fundraising and awareness program. For more than 20 years, Bigs, Littles, donors, corporations and other community members have raised money for Big Brothers Big Sisters by asking family and friends for their financial support. We thank our supporters of our 2009 Bowl For Kids' Sake!

Bowl for Kids’ Sake events around the country have been instrumental in raising money and visibility for Big Brothers Big Sisters:

• In 2004, Bowl for Kids’ Sake events raised over $20.5 million to benefit local children
• More than 500,000 people participate in Bowl for Kids’ Sake events annually as bowlers and team captains
• More than 2,000,000 donors contribute through Bowl for Kids’ Sake annually

This years event ran on October 22nd from 5:30-7:30, 8-10, October 24th from 11-1, 1:30-3:30 or 4-6 at Cadillac Lanes in Waterloo. Participants chose the shift that worked best for them and came to 650 LaPorte Road to Bowl For Kids' Sake.
