Big Sister Alice Abbott and Little Sister Chris Colley

My parents were divorcing, I was losing dad, mom was going back to work, and I was lost in the shuffle. Alice was in her late twenties, a homemaker with no children, with a love of animals. We did arts and crafts, participated in walk-a-thons, and went to the movies. It was pretty simple, but I thought our time together was the greatest thing in the world. 27 years later, Alice is still a part of my life. She always made me feel special. It didn't involve anything big-just being together. To me, it meant the world.
