Julius Peppers Scores Touchdown In Partnership With
BBBS Campaign
Big Brothers Big Sister is pleased to announce that NFL football star Julius Peppers of the Carolina Panthers has teamed with our agency. Peppers, a defensive end, appears in a multi-media campaign to bring awareness of the need of male volunteers. He is featured with a BBBS Little in TV, radio and print ads.
The ad was unveiled during the Panthers vs. Tampa Bay football game at Bank of America Stadium.
Peppers is the second high profile athlete to appear in ads for Big Brothers Big Sisters. In November 2006, the agency announced a partnership with Raymond Felton of the NBA's Charlotte Bobcats.
“I am excited that athletes like Raymond and Julius are affiliated with our agency,” says Carol Lee, CEO Big Brothers Big Sisters. Other athletes have teamed nationally with BBBS to help too. Athletes like Troy Aikman, now retired, the star of the NFL's Dallas Cowboys in the 90's (and three-time Super Bowl champion) appears in public service announcements to help attract more BBBS mentors.
Concentric Marketing, an award winning full-service marketing firm in Charlotte, designed the campaign for Felton and Peppers.
Troy, Raymond and Julius are on our team. You too can join this starting line-up by becoming a volunteer with BBBS!
