Our annual BBBS volunteer recognition summer picnic will be at Ideal Beach this year on August 15 from 12:30-3:00 pm. Please bring a canned food item for free admission per person. Please also bring a dish to share. Hot dogs, drinks, and table service will be provided.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Elkhart County now has a fan page set up on Facebook. This page will have all of the latest news that BBBS has. Also posted will be anything from videos pertaining to our organization, to notes about what is currently happening at BBBS.
Twitter is a service that allows users to post short (140 character) updates that any person following them can see. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Elkhart County plans to use this to send out short news items to the community. Following BBBS on Twitter is easy
Between League and Celebrity Day events, 88 teams and 431 people bowled to support Big Brothers Big Sisters. The event raised $56,000 to support the program so that children can be matched with caring and dedicated volunteers.
