GREENVILLE, S.C. (March 23, 2011) -- Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Upstate confirms a full schedule of fundraising events that will benefit the organization in 2011: The Fourth Annual Big Golf Challenge on July 18, 2011; Bowl For Kids' Sake Anderson on August 13, 2011; and the Third Annual Clemson/Carolina Pep Rally on November 22, 2011. It costs about $700 to serve one at risk child for one year in the Upstate. Proceeds from the above mentioned events will help BBBS Upstate reach more at risk children.
The Fourth Annual Big Golf Challenge will take place on July 18, 2011 at The Cliffs at Glassy. There will be 24 teams of four competing for the title. The event is scheduled for a 10:00 a.m. shotgun start. A four-person team entry fee is $1,000 and a single person entry fee is $250. Participants will enjoy a beautiful day of golf, catered lunch and post-game functions provided by The Cliffs at Glassy.
