Position Title: Community Outreach Manager (Hernando County)
Description of Duties: In collaboration with the EVP and members of the Development Team, manage and monitor the agency’s recruitment, market development and fund raising efforts. Responsible for meeting or exceeding the Development goals for recruitment of volunteers, fund raising events, cultivation of major corporate sponsors and foundations, donor acquisition and research, donor stewardship, major gifts from individuals, planned giving and data base management.
Under the direction of the CEO and EVP, this position will be staff support and recruit members for the Hernando Leadership Council.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree from an accredited college majoring in communications, education, community relations or a human services related field. Preferably two years of development/sales and event management experience with documented results. Demonstrated technology skills including desktop publishing, word processing and data base management are strongly preferred; strong interpersonal, organizational, writing, public speaking, strategic and analytic skills will be expected from an ambitious, results-oriented leader.

Position Title: Support Group Assistant: Part-time (10 hrs/wk)
Description of Duties: aid in establishing and developing support groups for relative caregivers. Requires some evenings and weekends for meetings and recreational activities.
