Six Degrees members with Executive vice president of HR, Lisa Letizio during the Sept 18 Big Shot event at HSN, Inc. HSN welcomed Six Degrees members with a delicious spread of appetizers in a stylish lobby area, then showed a short video about the company's brand.  Ms. Letizio shared about her career path and the impressive leadership she's had at HSN for the past 10 years, including her efforts to successfully create a culture of community service among the employees.  The group was then lead through a fascinating tour of the facilities, where they got to meet and greet with show hosts and producers, and see the on-air process and different indoor and outdoor sets that are used. The tour ended with each member plugging in their head sets alongside a live call center representative to hear how the process of ordering from the live show takes place.  Six Degrees members gained a greater behind-the-scenes knowledge and appreciation for the amount of work that is put forth to make every part of HSN a success. see a few more photos>>

Six Degrees members with Pinellas County Sheriff Jim Coats during the June 21 Big Shot event. It began with an hour of round table discussion and valuable open dialogue with the Sheriff. The Sheriff then accompanied the group as many respected members of the PCSO led them through a nearly two-hour private tour of the facilities. The tour included a behind-the-scenes look at their new medical facility, a mock cell extraction demonstration by the Corrections Response Team, and a conversation with a juvenile inmate. It was truly an eye-opening experience!
