Informational Sessions Being Held for Individuals Interested in Becoming a Big Brother, Big Sister, or Big Couple!

Would you or someone you know make a great Big Brother or Big Sister?  Do you have questions about the program and the time commitment involved? To answer these questions and more, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands now offers information sessions that provide you with all the information you need to make an informed decision about becoming a Big Brother, Big Sister, or Big Couple.

During the one hour sessions, potential volunteers learn about our mentoring programs, how children come to be enrolled, the volunteer enrollment process, the role of a Big, and our expectations for both Bigs and Littles. Program staff conducts the sessions and are available to answer any questions. The sessions are geared to ensure that the choice to become a Big Brother, Big Sister, or Big Couple is a positive and rewarding experience for the new volunteer.
