These are the little moments that Big Brothers and Big Sisters experience every day. Being a Big Brother, Big Sister, or Big Couple is one of the most rewarding and enjoyable things you will ever do. Little Brothers and Little Sisters come from all kinds of backgrounds. Some are little and some are teenagers. Some may live on your block and some a few miles away. There are currently 33 children in Pottawattamie County waiting for a Big Brother, Big Sister, or Big Couple. As members of their community, you can help provide these children with the support they need to become successful. All you have to do is Be a Friend and you can Change a Life!
Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands helps children reach their potential through professionally supported one-to-one relationships with proven results. Bigs and Littles have fun together — and create memories that last a lifetime. Matching an at-risk child with a caring adult strengthens our community by increasing the number of children who stay in school, avoid substance abuse, stay out of the juvenile court system, and do not become teen parents.

Our goal is to serve as many children in Pottawattamie County who need and want a Big Brother, Big Sister, or Big Couple. We can't do that without your help!
