Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands was announced as one of the top performers for length of match in School-Based Mentoring! 

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands was announced yesterday as one of the top performers for length of match in the School-Based Mentoring program by Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.  Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands is one of the 18 agencies, out of nearly 400 nationwide, with an average match length of greater than 15 months!  

Some of the changes recommended by mentoring research that were implemented here are:
Requiring a one year or longer commitment of Bigs and Littles
Strengthening summer activities
Strong match support
Having strong volunteer training
