Big Brother Eric and Little Brother Noah

Big Sister Megan and Little Sister Kira
Kira and Megan have been matched in our school program for a year and a half. Kira and Megan have a great bond and are always so full of energy when they are together. Little sister Kira says that her match is “awesome” and she feels “very close” to Big Sister Megan. Together Kira and Megan like to eat lunch together and they love to play board games or card games. One day Kira and Megan hope to transition to Community Program. Kira said that once they do they will be like “real sisters”, because then they could so “everything together”.
Big Brother Josh and Little Brother Josh
Josh and Josh have been matched since November 2006 at Lake Otis Elementary. Little Brother Josh is a fourth grader and loves sports. That makes Big Brother Josh a great match because they usually spend their Friday afternoons outside playing American Football, which both of them love. According to Big Bro Josh, Little Bro Josh has a great arm. Big Bro Josh also says that his Little Brother is quite an accomplished UNO player, and has smoked him a few times in a row. Besides football and UNO, they like to sled, ice skate, and stay active outdoors. Little Bro Josh says that he likes his Big Bro because he's nice, likes to play football, and comes to see him every week.
Big Couple Jeffrey & Cassandra and Little Brother Kaden
Jeffrey & Cassandra were matched as a couple with Kaden in the Community Based Program on March 19, 2007. Kaden is ten years old and really excited about having two Bigs! They are interested in sports and outdoor activities. The first time they hung out they played hockey at West Chester Lagoon and had lunch. They are off to a great start!
Big Sister Rita and Little Sister Kim
Kim and Rita were matched in September 2000 in the school program when Little Sister Kim was in 3rd grade. Two years later they decided that they wanted more adventures together and transitioned into the Community Program. The two friends go shopping, help with community events, work on homework or sometimes just hang out. Kim is now a sophomore in High School and is studying to get her CNA (Certified Nurses Assistant certificate) and has her eye on attending UAF. Big Brother Cliff and Little Brother James
Little brother James and Big Brother Cliff have been matched for over three years now. They love to go fishing together, in fact they like to go fishing year round and in the winter they like to go ice fishing on Twin Lakes. They have similar interests and have been a great match together, Cliff whole-heartedly agreed when James said "a bad day fishing sure beats a good day working".
Big Sister Sandy and Little Sister Jennifer
Sandy and Jennifer have been matched for 4 years. They make time to see ach other and do something fun every week. Sandy has taught Jennifer to sew her own quilt; they like to horseback ride, volunteer for The Animal Shelter Adopt a Pet Program, and cook.
