Big Brothers Big Sisters of Alaska depends on the generosity of donors like you to continue to provide mentors for children. And your contribution stays right in your local community.

Here are just some of the ways you can donate:

Individual Support
Financial donations provide direct and immediate support, usually in the form of cash (via credit card, check, or electronic transfer) or publicly traded securities. Donors generally qualify for tax deductions. Make your gift online today! 

Pledges
Pledges allow donors to make ongoing gifts over a period of months or years. Payment schedules are flexible. To arrange for monthly, quarterly or annual donations or to be billed at regular intervals

In-Kind Donations
In lieu of a financial contribution provide Big Brothers Big Sisters of Alaska with donated services, such as printing, video production, graphic design, etc. 

Stocks & Securities
Increasing numbers of donors are making gifts to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Alaska using appreciated securities including stocks, bonds, and mutual funds. Learn more about stocks & securities

Employer Matching Gifts
Many employers match their employees’ gifts to charitable institutions. Some companies will match the gifts of employee spouses and retired employees as well. Ask the human resources or benefits office at your workplace for more information.

Planned Gifts & Bequests
A planned gift to Big Brothers Big Sisters ensures the continuation of our landmark mentoring programs and creates your own legacy of support. Planned giving also offers significant advantages including tax breaks and a potential income increase. If you’re considering making Big Brothers Big Sisters part of your trust, bequest, or endowment

Dream Big Event
A free breakfast or lunch event acquainting you with our mission. Come, learn about our programs and be moved by our mission. To host a table or attend this year's event  in fall of 2008, contact Annette Leeland  at (907) 263-2086 or your local office.

Bowl for Kids’ Sake
If you care about kids and can spare a little time for fun, then Bowl for Kids’ Sake is right up your alley! Bowl for Kids’ Sake is Big Brothers Big Sisters' signature, yearly, fundraising event. For more than 20 years, Bigs, Littles, donors, corporations, and other community members have been raising money for Big Brothers Big Sisters in bowling lanes across the country.  To be involved in next year's Bowl for Kids' Sake, contact us at (907) 278-2621.

Our Big Brothers Big Sisters Pick-up Service accepts small household items, clothing & cloth of all types.  Click here to get the locations of our drop-off bins or to schedule a pick-up.
