FLINT, MI - Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Flint is excited to partner with the Flint Pan-Hellenic Council for its “40 MENtors in 40 Days” recruitmentcampaign. This campaign kicks off on October 6th 2013 and will conclude at The Power of 40-Igniting the Flames of Transformation event on November 15th 2013. The National Pan-Hellenic Council – Flint Chapter has challenged its local chapters, fraternities and sororities, to assist in this effort. The focus of this endeavor is to address the overwhelming need for male mentors in our community.
The Comcast Foundation has awarded $10,000 to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Flint’s Hispanic Mentoring Program. The funds will support the agency’s commitment to serve more Hispanic youth in one-to-one mentoring relationships that change their lives for the better, forever.
