Quarterly Theme: Industriousness
Conversation Starters
- Discuss the definition of Industrious-how do you show this value in your everyday life?
- Start a conversation with your Little about what they want to be when they grow up by asking about their favorite subjects in school and their hobbies.
- Talk about what kind of long-term goals your Little has and what steps to take now, a few months from now, a year from now, and 5 years from now to make them a reality (sports, education, volunteer work, etc.!)
- Talk about a time where you went beyond the expectations you were given (homework assignment, volunteer work, helping someone.) What did you learn from this? How did other respond?
- Discuss your Little’s homework assignments, friends at school, and extra-curricular activities.
