• Talk to your Little about a time when you worked really hard for something and it paid off.
• Discuss time management with your Little.
• Talk about your Little’s goals for the coming school year.
• If your Little has a summer job, talk to them about the things they like and dislike about it, and what the other people that they work with are like.

A Little Something Extra

• Start a volunteer project.
• Read a book together and plan a time to talk about it.
• Based on your Little’s interests, plan to tour another business. Many places are willing to let you tour their facilities and even talk to kids about their line of work
