Conversation Starters
- Talk about different ways to show gratitude on Halloween—proper etiquette for Trick or Treating—what to do AND what not to do.
- Think of everyday things for which to show gratitude—getting a ride to school, someone picking up the pencil you dropped, lunch ladies serving lunch, etc.
- Talk about your favorite gift you received and the favorite gift you have given
A Little Something Extra
- Go Trick or Treating together and make sure you say “thank you” at every stop!
- Design your own line of “Thank You” cards. At www.kodakgallery.com you can upload your own photos and create your own cards!"
- Make Halloween candy bags for important people in your lives to show them that you are thankful for them.
- Pick out a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch and carve the words “Thank You” into it instead of a scary face. (Or you can do two pumpkins, since the scary face is probably more fun!)
