Conversation Starters

• Talk about all the things in life for which you and your Little are thankful.
• Discuss Veterans’ Day—what the meaning is, what it is all about, and what it means to you.
• Talk about what you and your Little are grateful for in each other—the things that you appreciate about each other and the things that make your match fantastic!

Big Idea Activity

• Celebrate and appreciate your friendship at our final anniversary party of 2009-save the date for Thursday, November 19^th. Space is limited-RSVP to your MSS.

 A Little Something Extra

• Draw and decorate turkeys with the outline of your hand and then come up with a different thing for which you are thankful for each of the four fingers/feathers. (The thumb is the turkey’s head.)
• Learn how to say “thank you” in different languages and practice every time you and your Little are together!
• Host a Thanksgiving (or pre- or post-Thanksgiving, for scheduling purposes) meal for your families, and prepare all or some of the food together.
• Celebrate Veterans’ Day together.
