Big Brothers Big Sisters is the oldest, largest and most effective youth mentoring organization in the United States. We have been the leader in one-to-one youth service for more than a century, developing positive relationships that have a direct and lasting impact on the lives of young people.
Heartland Big Brothers Big Sisters serves youth ages 7 through 17 in Lancaster and Saline County, Nebraska. Since beginning as Y-Pals, a program through the YMCA, in 1970, Heartland Big Brothers Big Sisters has influenced thousands of lives. In 2007, Heartland Big Brothers Big Sisters was recognized as one of the top 35 affiliates by Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.
