I have been blessed to have been a Big Sister three times over the past 20+ years.  It's those experiences along with the countless other great successes I see everyday that make me so passionate about Heartland Big Brothers Big Sisters.  It's been my privilege to have served this agency for the past two decades- to see our Littles grow to reach their potential realizing our vision of successful mentoring relationships for all children who need and want them, contributing to better schools, brighter, and stronger communities for all.

During my 13 years with the agency, I have seen HBBBS grow to serve over 800 youth in our community each year.  I continue to be amazed at the great impact having a Big Brother or Big Sister can make for a child.  I have seen HBBBS develop into an agency which has strong, well-trained staff that are able to work together as a team to provide children with the remarkable experience of having a Big Brother or Big Sister.
