Bowl for Kids' Sake Spring Break
 Have fun and help kids! If you care about kids and can spare a little time for fun, then Bowl for Kids’ Sake is right up your alley!
Bowl for Kids’ Sake is Big Brothers Big Sisters' signature fundraising and awareness program. For more than 20 years, Bigs, Littles, donors, corporations, and other community members have been raising money for Big Brothers Big Sisters by asking family and friends for their financial support.
Bowl for Kids’ Sake has been instrumental in raising money and visibility for Heartland Big Brothers Big Sisters!
- In 2009, Bowl for Kids’ Sake raised over $125,000 to benefit local children
- More than 1100 people participated in Bowl for Kids’ Sake as bowlers and team captains
- More than 5,000 donors contributed through Bowl for Kids’ Sake

Be a Bowler
Joining the Bowl for Kids' Sake as a Bowler is a fun and easy way to support Heartland Big Brothers Big Sisters. Simply join a team and work towards either a team goal or individual goal. As part of registration you will receive a packet of basic information and a pledge sheet. You can raise money on that sheet or use the Bowl for Kids' Sake website. This site allows you to create your own donation page and email friends and family to support you.
Be a Team Captain
Every team needs a captain. The Bowl for Kids' Sake Team Captain:
- Organizes a team of up to 6 bowlers to raise money and participate.
- Registers team with Heartland Big Brothers Big Sisters.
- Distributes materials to team members.
- The team will work toward a team fundraising goal and/or individual goal.
- The day of the event, the Team Captain will turn in materials and enjoy a great bowling party!
Be a Team Coordinator
Heartland Big Brothers Big Sisters is proud to have many companies that participate in Bowl for Kids' Sake by having several employee teams.
Bowl for Kids' Sake is not only a fun fundraiser for a great cause, but gives your employees a chance to relax, socialize and feel good about their contributions.
