This position is responsible for providing high-level customer service in response to all customer and stakeholder inquiries and leads. Essential to the BBBS brand, a primary function of this position is to ensure that children and volunteers are appropriately enrolled while executing a high degree of independent judgment when utilizing BBBS standards and practices. A high-level customer service, focusing on volunteer options and child safety, is to be demonstrated throughout the volunteer and child enrollment process.
This position is responsible for providing high-level customer service in response to all functions of Big Brothers Big Sisters. These functions include Fund Development and Service Delivery. The director may handle all of the functions or supervise staff members that do so. The successful incumbent will produce positive outcomes in the following areas: partnership development, revenue, and Service Delivery standards, including but not limited to: inquiries, inquiry response rate, assessment quality, and new match goals.
The Director of Volunteer Recruitment is responsible for establishing meaningful corporate and community partnerships that create a pipeline of volunteers, as well as children and youth, for the agency’s mentoring programs. The Director of Volunteer Recruitment will set the strategy for long-term and short-term growth in volunteer recruitment, and manage key relationships which will drive that growth. This position will work closely with the resource development team in identifying and cultivating corporate prospects.
For this position, the successful candidate will also coordinate our high-quality, after school mentoring program. This involves creating activity curricula, managing high school mentors, teaching leadership skills, and nurturing long-lasting match relationships, while working closely with school and after- school personnel.
