Kansas City Big and Little to announce Atlanta Falcons' No. 8 pick at 2023 NFL Draft!
Volunteer mentor ("Big") Christopher and mentee ("Little") 16 year-old Shane were matched over four years ago through Big Brothers Big Sisters Kansas City. After losing his father to brain cancer, Shane found an unbreakable bond with Christopher, who became a positive role model and mentor in his life. Through shared experiences at sporting events, holiday celebrations, key life moments, and beyond, Shane and Christopher created a mentoring relationship to last a lifetime.

NATE BURLESON
HOST, The NFL Today & CBS Mornings

Nate Burleson is an Emmy Award-winning studio analyst and sports personality. He is currently the co-host of CBS Mornings. He is also on CBS’s The NFL Today and NFL Slimetime on Nickelodeon. Burleson won the Emmy Award for outstanding sports personality/studio analyst for his work on The NFL Today back-to-back in 2021 and 2022. Prior to joining CBS’s News Division, Burleson served as a host on NFL Networks’ Emmy Award-winning show Good Morning Football. Burleson was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the 2003 NFL Draft. During his career, he also played for the Seattle Seahawks and Detroit Lions.
RACHAAD WHITE
RUNNING BACK, TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS

For Buccaneers running back Rachaad White, the Big Brothers Big Sisters mission is personal. Before becoming an NFL Draft pick in 2022, Rachaad was a Little growing up in Kansas City, where he was first matched at eight years old with his Big, John Waller. Rachaad and John have continued to build their connection through Rachaad’s NFL journey and beyond. With his rookie season officially in the books in Tampa Bay, White is supporting the Big Draft to share his personal story and the impact mentorship can have on young people and their communities.
JAYLON JOHNSON
CORNERBACK, CHICAGO BEARS

The Chicago Bears’ 2022 nominee for the NFL’s Walter Payton Man of the Year Award joins our Big Ambassador roster after his third NFL season. In addition to lending his voice to support the Big Brothers Big Sisters mission, Jaylon is also the founder of his own nonprofit organization – Kevvy's Vision – in his native Fresno, California. His work focuses on empowering underprivileged communities with equal opportunity.
ROY ROBERTSON-HARRIS
DEFENSIVE END, JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS

Roy Robertson-Harris has been an advocate for Big Brothers Big Sisters throughout his seven years in the NFL. During the annual #MyCauseMyCleats week, he features Big Brothers Big Sisters designs to highlight the important work of Bigs in their communities. We are thrilled to welcome him to our Big Ambassador roster and are grateful for his support in both the Chicago and Jacksonville communities.
