The Director of Volunteer Recruitment is responsible for establishing meaningful corporate and community partnerships that create a pipeline of volunteers, as well as children and youth, for the agency’s mentoring programs. The Director of Volunteer Recruitment will set the strategy for long-term and short-term growth in volunteer recruitment, and manage key relationships which will drive that growth. This position will work closely with the resource development team in identifying and cultivating corporate prospects.
The Director of Special Events is responsible for developing and managing major fundraising events for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta. Current annual events include Bowl for Kids’ Sake, Bigs Swing Fore Littles Golf Tournament and the Legacy Awards Gala. Key responsibilities include planning and implementing cost-effective events, setting revenue goals, forming relationships with and soliciting event sponsors and donors, supervising the Special Events Coordinator, and managing sponsors, contractors, vendors, employees and volunteers. An ideal candidate will have:
