A new school year brings new opportunities, challenges and milestones, and having a trusted mentor can make all the difference. Macy’s is joining forces with Big Brothers Big Sisters to help create caring one-on-one mentorship relationships that will help young people feel supported throughout the school year and beyond.
From July 14 – August 31, 2026, Macy’s customers can support mentorship by rounding up their purchase in-store or donating online at Macy’s. One hundred percent of donations will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Every dollar make a difference:
- $1 helps a young person start the school year feeling supported
- $5 helps recruit a Big (mentor) to support a Little (youth) in a local Macy’s community
- $10 unlocks moments of connection that inspire confidence
The back-to-school initiative is the latest chapter in Macy’s ongoing support for the BBBSA mission. Since 2022, Macy’s has raised more than $17.2 million for Big Brothers Big Sisters to support more than 400,000 mentoring moments.
