Chuck E. Cheese’s Donates $100,000 to Big Brothers Big Sisters of America in Support of Yearlong Partnership

National partnership focused on raising awareness for volunteers and funding

IRVING, Texas (June 30, 2015) – CEC Entertainment, Inc. today announced a $100,000 donation to Big Brothers
Big Sisters, in support of their yearlong partnership. The donation will help Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies across the country continue to raise awareness about the need for volunteers and support the matching process for the more than 30,000 Littles still in need of a Big.

Funds for the donation were raised through a flurry of activity during the month of April in honor of National Volunteer Month, including a national fundraising night on April 14th in which 10% of register sales nationwide were donated to the organization, as well as a month long opportunity for guests to donate to Big Brothers Big Sisters at the register. In addition, Chuck E. Cheese’s launched a new initiative in April where Chuck E. himself became an honorary Big for a day to a Little in Dallas. The Honorary Big program aims to encourage adults to volunteer to become a Big and the program is continuing to roll out in other cities nationwide.

All year long, Bigs, Littles and Big Brothers Big Sisters staff receive a special value deal: 25 tokens, one medium one-topping pizza and two drinks for only $17.99*. By contacting their local chapter, Bigs will receive a value coupon that can be used at any Chuck E. Cheese’s location.

The ultimate destination for family fun, Chuck E. Cheese’s is the place Where A Kid Can Be A Kid®. Chuck E. Cheese’s features food and entertainment options such as a new Thin & Crispy pizza, wraps, a salad bar and games appropriate for toddlers, kids, teens and adults.
