Allentown, PA (August 10, 2015) – Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, the nation’s largest donor– and volunteer – supported mentoring organization, has teamed with Blue Trail Entertainment to promote the theatrical release of Heroes of Dirt. Celebrating the strong mentoring storyline running throughout the film, the two organizations will partner on a host of joint digital, print, and in-theater marketing opportunities as well as several pre-screenings prior to release day. The BMX action/adventure film is set to hit select theaters nationwide September 4th.
“The powerful mentoring story throughout Heroes of Dirt is a testament to how a little bit of time can make a big difference in the life of a child,” says Pam Iorio, President and CEO of BBBSA.
Featuring some of the best stunts in dirt jumping by legendary pros and hardcore locals, Heroes of Dirt is more than an adrenaline rush. It embarks on an unforgettable journey into real significance, and the price it takes to get there.
“People oftentimes in real life become heroes in the dirtiest of situations, and it’s in those situations that really challenge someone’s character… whether they choose to live for themselves or for others,” shares Eric Bugbee, President of Blue Trail Entertainment and Director of Heroes of Dirt.
His wife, Jill Bugbee – Blue Trail’s Vice President and producer for Heroes of Dirt – continues: “The film’s core value is that true significance in life is found in making a positive impact on
someone else’s life. We’re really excited about partnering with Big Brothers Big Sisters because, together, we can promote the important message of youth mentorship.”
