Arlen “GRIFF” Griffin

Comedian, On-Air Personality, Philanthropist and Author, Alumni Little

Arlen “GRIFF” Griffin is a California native, comedian, on-air personality, writer, actor, motivational speaker, philanthropist, voice-over artist, author, and proud U.S. Army veteran. GRIFF has built a powerful reputation as one of the most dynamic and influential comedians and media personalities in the United States and abroad.  

In 2013, GRIFF made history as the first American comedian to tape Comedy Central Africa in Johannesburg, South Africa. His global impact is undeniable. He has traveled internationally for performances and television projects and has visited South Africa more than 37 times over the past 15 years.  

An accomplished author, GRIFF released his first book, Cats & Puppies, to international acclaim.  As of April 1, 2026, the audiobook edition of Cats & Puppies, written and narrated by Arlen “GRIFF” Griffin, was officially released. The audiobook was produced by Teddy P and executive produced by Roz Thompson / Simply Roz Music. He is also the founder of The Process Success Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to helping young people confront emotional fears while building courage, purpose, and inspiration. In 2023, he expanded the foundation’s reach by launching The Process Success Foundation South Africa.  

GRIFF’s award-winning radio career has cemented him as a major voice in inspirational and urban media. A two-time Stellar Award winner and Marconi Award-winning personality, he has co-hosted on notable stations throughout the Atlanta metropolitan area. Every weekday morning, listeners across the nation recognize his unforgettable raspy baritone voice on Get Up Mornings with Erica Campbell, the #1 inspirational morning show in the United States, airing on Reach Media/Radio One. In May 2024, the show celebrated eight years on the air.  

In recognition of his contributions to gospel and inspirational media, GRIFF was inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame in 2025. Continuing his legacy of service and impact, he is preparing for induction into the Boys & Girls Club Hall of Fame in 2026. 

GRIFF is also the co-founder and producer of the hit podcast I Hate the Homies, one of the highest-ranked podcasts on Apple and currently the #1 African American sports podcast, as well as a Top 10 sports podcast nationwide. In July 2023, he and award-winning producer and gospel singer J. Ross launched The Foreign Exchange Show, airing nationally across South Africa every Saturday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.  

Currently, GRIFF is partnered with Simply Roz Music to create CONSEQUENCES, a nationwide talent competition designed to discover, develop, and elevate winning artists, culminating in an opportunity to take their gifts to Africa and share their talent on a global stage. 

Jericka Duncan

National Correspondent and Anchor, CBS Weekend News, Alumni Big

Jericka Duncan is a national correspondent and anchor of the CBS WEEKEND NEWS. She’s based in New York City.

Duncan, who has been a CBS News correspondent since 2013, has reported such significant stories as accusations against R Kelly, Bill Cosby and Harvey Weinstein; the shooting deaths of four Marines and a Navy sailor in Chattanooga; the 70th anniversary of D-Day and Normandy; as well as a variety of national breaking news stories. In 2018 she spent time in Washington D.C. covering the White House.

Her recent reporting includes an interview with an Ohio woman charged with a felony after a miscarriage, a moving report on a 5-year-old boy from Gaza receiving medical care in the U.S., and a conversation with NBA star Steph Curry on embracing difference. During the 2024 presidential election, she traveled across the country to speak with voters and officials about the future of America.

Most recently, Duncan reported from Pennsylvania for the 2020 presidential election and interviewed the mother of Breonna Taylor, including breaking the news to the CBS audience that no one would be charged directly with Taylor’s death. She also was one of the first network correspondents on the ground in Alabama to cover the passage of that state’s most restrictive abortion bill since Roe v. Wade. In 2018 she spent time in Washington D.C. covering the White House. Duncan has also reported a variety of national breaking news stories that have taken her outside of the United States

Duncan is an Emmy-nominated journalist who has received several awards for her reporting, including two National Edward R. Murrow Awards from the Radio Television Digital News Association and honors from the Associated Press and the Philadelphia Association of Black Journalists, which named her Journalist of the Year in 2012.

Before joining CBS News, Duncan spent three years at KYW, the CBS-owned TV station in Philadelphia. At KYW, she earned first place from the Associated Press for a series of reports on disabled adults who were held captive in a Social Security scam. Duncan also covered Hurricane Irene in 2011 and Superstorm Sandy in 2012

Before that, Duncan was a reporter for WIVB (CBS) in Buffalo, N.Y., from 2007 to 2010. While there, she received a local Emmy Award in the Best Morning Show category for her winter storm coverage in 2008. In 2009 she was one of the first reporters at the scene of a plane crash near Buffalo that killed 50 people. Her coverage contributed to the station winning two national Edward M. Murrow Awards. She began her career in 2005 in nearby Elmira, N.Y., where she covered the search for Ralph “Bucky” Phillips – the longest manhunt for a fugitive in state history. Duncan received a New York State Broadcasters Association Award for Best Spot News Coverage in 2007.

Duncan graduated from Ohio University in 2005 with a degree in communications. She recently received a Juris Master in American legal studies from Liberty University. Duncan is a 2005 NAACP Image Award recipient. In 2006 she was a fellow at a North Carolina A&T conference on childhood obesity.

Duncan is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists and has volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Boys and Girls Club and the Black Leadership Commission on AIDS. In her spare time, she enjoys running, reading and spending time with her family.

Jihaad Campbell

NFL linebacker, Philadelphia Eagles, Alumni Big

Jihaad Campbell is a star linebacker for the Philadelphia Eagles, bringing his eyecatching athleticism and versatility to the Eagles’ defense. After a standout 2024 season at the University of Alabama, where he led the team with 117 tackles and earned AllSEC honors, Campbell was selected in the first round of the 2025 NFL draft by his hometown team, the Philadelphia Eagles. A former five-star recruit from New Jersey, Campbell played high school football at Timber Creek before transferring to IMG Academy.

Campbell is recognized as a local hero in his South Jersey community, often supporting local businesses, local officials, and residents with philanthropic events and appearances, including back-to-school backpack and school supply drives, holiday dinner giveaways, and winter coat drives.

Megan Colligan

Entertainment Executive, Alumni Big

Megan Colligan is currently building a new start-up company in the entertainment space. But earlier this year, she was the President of Row K Entertainment, an independent film company.  She is also a senior advisor to ArenaOne, a live entertainment theatrical music company.

From 2019 to April of 2023, Colligan oversaw Entertainment at IMAX. She was responsible for the profitability of the slate, the company’s relationships with studios, filmmakers, and other creators, and she spearheaded a large technology project to create a connected theater platform throughout the network of IMAX theaters while building a direct to consumer platform. She also initiated the Filmmed for Imax program which has transformed the company.

Prior to joining IMAX, Colligan worked her way through the ranks at Paramount Pictures. She began her career in 2006 as Executive Vice President of Publicity at Vantage.  She soon became the Worldwide President of Marketing and Distribution for the studio, a position she held since 2014.  She managed more than 400 employees, in 24 offices throughout the world and oversaw global marketing budgets for films that ranged from $10 million dollars to over $150 million dollars.  During her time, she was involved in the marketing and distribution of over 100 films, with a worldwide box office of approximately $22.5 billion dollars.

Colligan spearheaded the marketing and distribution efforts for many of Paramount’s most successful franchise properties, including “TRANSFORMERS,” “ANCHORMAN,” “TERMINATOR,” “MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE,” “STAR TREK,” “TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES,” “G.I. JOE” and was the architect of the launch for the “PARANORMAL ACTIVITY” franchise, which is widely believed to be one of the most profitable franchises of all time.

Colligan is an active member of the film and philanthropic community. Colligan is a member of The Motion Picture Academy Arts and Sciences and was on their Board of Governors for 3 years. She has served on the PR and Marketing Branch’s Executive Board for over 10 years. She was Board Chair of The Big Brothers Big Sisters Los Angeles (2022-25), where she has been a board member since 2013.

Colligan resides in Los Angeles with her husband and her three sons.

Mike Carrel

BBBSA Board Chair and President & CEO, Atricure, INC., Alumni Big

Michael H. Carrel has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of AtriCure (NASDAQ: ATRC) since November 2012. AtriCure, Inc. is a medical device company that provides innovative solutions for surgical treatments and therapies for atrial fibrillation (Afib), left atrial appendage (LAA) management, and post-operative pain management.

Since joining AtriCure, Mr. Carrel has fostered a patient-first company approach by focusing on three core areas: innovation, clinical science, and education. This strategic approach has led AtriCure to significantly invest in groundbreaking clinical trials, expand its market presence within Europe and Asia, and grow the global employee base from 200 to over 1300 employees. During Mr. Carrel’s tenure, AtriCure has acquired three companies (Estech, nContact, and SentreHEART) adding leading ablation and left atrial appendage management technologies to further AtriCure’s market position worldwide.

His career includes successful leadership in global organizations in the healthcare and technology industries. Before joining AtriCure, Mr. Carrel was President and Chief Executive Officer of Vital Images, a publicly traded medical imaging software company. He led Vital Images to a global leadership position in the healthcare and medical software industry. Under his leadership, the company grew revenue and profitability, increased global market share, expanded its presence to over 90 countries, and led the company through a sale to Toshiba Medical Systems Corporation. Prior to joining Vital Images, he was President and CEO of Zamba Corp., a publicly traded technology company, and Chief Financial Officer of NextNet Wireless, a privately held provider of non-line-of-sight plug and play broadband wireless access systems.

Mr. Carrel is National Board Chair of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, and he serves on the Board of Medical Device Manufacturers Association (MDMA) and AdvaMed. He was previously the Board Chair of Axonics until its acquisition by Boston Scientific. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Pennsylvania State University and a master’s degree in business administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Tyler Booker

NFL Offensive Guard, Dallas Cowboys, Alumni Big

Tyler Booker is an offensive guard for the Dallas Cowboys, recognized for his powerful run-blocking and reliable pass protection. His  leadership and competitive drive have established him as a rising star and a cornerstone of the team’s offensive line. The Cowboys selected Booker 12th overall in the 2025 NFL draft, following a dynamic college career at the University of Alabama. As a two-year starter and team captain for the Crimson Tide, he earned First-team All-SEC and Second-team All-American honors in 2024.

Off the field, Booker is committed to supporting youth sports and insipring young athletes to stay determine and consistent in pursuit of their goals. He hosts an annual youth football camp in his hometown of New Haven, Connecticut providing resources and mentorship to the next generation.

With his unwavering work ethic, positive attitude, and passion for the game, Tyler Booker is poised to leave a lasting legacy on the Dallas Cowboys, in the NFL and in the community for years to come.

Arthur M. Blank

Owner and Chairman Blank Family of Businesses, Alumni Big

Perhaps best known as the co-founder of The Home Depot, Arthur M. Blank is now widely recognized for his diverse portfolio of businesses. Named as one of Forbes’ 2026 Greatest Living Self-Made Americans and recipient of the 2024 Sports Business Journal Lifetime Achievement Award and the 2021 ESPN Sports Philanthropist of the Year, Blank is widely known for using purpose and profit together to benefit the communities around him.

In addition to the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation, Blank’s portfolio of businesses includes the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons; MLS’ Atlanta United; PGA TOUR Superstore; Atlanta Drive GC; NWSL Atlanta 2028; Mercedes-Benz Stadium; and AMB West, made up of Mountain Sky Guest Ranch, West Creek Ranch, Auster at Dome Mountain and Paradise Valley Ranch.

Since 1995, the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation has granted more than $1.5 billion, investing in education, parks and green space, youth development and community redevelopment. The Foundation also leads giving programs for all the for-profit  businesses within the Blank Family of Businesses portfolio.

His accomplishments have earned repeated recognition, including being named by Forbes as one of the World’s 100 Greatest Living Business Minds in 2017, Executive of the Year by Sports Business Journal in 2018 and listed among SBJ’s 50 Most Influential People in Sports in 2016, 2017, and 2018.

In 2024, Blank was enshrined as the 13th member of the Atlanta Falcons Ring of Honor. Blank has made his mark as a renowned steward of the franchise. As a leadership voice in the incredible growth of the NFL over the last two decades, Blank has also championed using the Falcons and NFL platforms to grow youth football, support America’s military and build community in Atlanta.
